This policy explains what information Squeaky Floor collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to squeakyfloor.ca and to enquiries sent to us through it.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us: typically your name, your contact details, the location of the property, and a description of the problem. We collect this because we cannot respond to an enquiry or quote a repair without it. We do not ask for and do not want financial information through this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a diagnostic visit.
- To prepare and send you a written quote.
- To carry out and follow up on work you have booked with us.
- To keep records of work performed, as any contractor would.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with a service provider that operates part of this website on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to run it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept longer, because a homeowner may reasonably come back to us about a past repair.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@squeakyfloor.ca and we will deal with it. If you have asked us to stop contacting you, we will.
