That puts a great deal of Burlington's housing in the roughly 1958 to 1975 range.

Are Aldershot houses older or newer than the rest of Burlington?

Mostly of a piece with the postwar wave. Aldershot came into Burlington with the 1958 annexation, having previously been part of East Flamborough Township, and its farms were largely sold to developers through the 1960s. So Aldershot housing is predominantly late 1950s through 1970s, on nailed plywood subfloor.

What about Roseland? We have heard it is a 1920s garden suburb.

That description is fair, and we will use it. Several specific years circulate for the individual surveys involved, but they trace to property marketing rather than a municipal record, so we describe Roseland as a 1920s planned garden suburb and leave it there rather than repeating a date we cannot verify.
